Set the Tone Fitness was established in 2015 and serves Ripon and the surrounding area including Harrogate, Knaresborough, Mickley, Grantley, Grewelthorpe and Thirsk. Whatever your fitness level or capabilities, we have a class to suit you. We pride ourselves on our fun and varied classes. Don’t like the idea of group classes? We also offer 1-1 sessions and small group PT.
Exercise for everyone
One of my first roles after University was working as a mentor with Young Carers in Harrogate and then spent 6 months playing cricket in Australia.
On my return to Ripon I began working with adults with learning disabilities at Ripon Community Link for eight years. During this time, I began leading fitness classes for the wider community which was the very beginning of Set The Tone Fitness. These additional classes proved to be very popular and at this point I decided to pursue my love of personal training and work solely on Set The Tone Fitness.
In 2014, I qualified as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor with YMCA Fit and then as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2015. I continued my development in this industry by gaining a Boot Camp Leader & Group Training qualifications from Premier Global and I now lead Group Fitness sessions across seven venues.
I bring my experience and passion for fitness to every class and personal training session, and I thrive on encouraging my clients and helping them achieve their fitness goals, whatever they may be.
